He reported both of them because he was frustrated after receiving a video from his legally married wife’s lover via WhatsApp, showing them being intimate in a room, dressed in only upper garments or semi-nude.
According to the complainant, initially, his wife, who resides in Pali District while he works in Palembang, wanted a divorce. However, he requested that the divorce petition should instead be filed by his wife.
Suddenly, his phone received a WhatsApp message containing a video of his wife’s affair, showing her and her lover partially undressed or half-naked. The video was intentionally sent to him with the aim of provoking him to anger and prompting him to file for divorce in court. However, since the woman was still legally his wife, he decided to report the incident to the police instead.
“Suddenly, I received a WhatsApp message with a nude intimate video sent by a man named Rusito. Well, I just reported it to the police,” said Tom in Palembang, Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
With the police report filed, Tom now hopes the police will arrest both of them for openly engaging in partially nude intimacy, despite each having their own spouse.
